・グループ6・スポーツプロトタイプの1969年レギュレーション変更に伴い開発された908/2をベースに、テクニカルなタルガ・フローリオ等のレースで戦うべくボディシェイプを新設計で挑んだ908の軽量化モデルが908/3です。
・908/3は1971年シーズン、ニュルブルクリンク1000kmレースにおいてマルティニチームが優勝し、908/3は表彰台独占という快挙を成し遂げました。
・1971年型908/3は、前年型から改良が加えられました。リアにフィンが追加され、リアボディ幅が広くなり、リアホイール径と幅が大型化、ロールバーの形状等が変更されました。この908/3の1971年型をモデル化しました。
・1971年のニュルブルクリンク1000kmとタルガ・フローリオで活躍したマルティニ・チームとガルフ・チームのマシンをモデル化。
The 908/3 was a lightweight model of the 908 line that was designed to race in the more technical Targa Florio races. Based off the 980/2, modifications were made to the car to suit the regulation changes to Group 6 in 1969.
The 908/3 was evolved further in 1971 - with a newly added a rear fin and increased width to the rear body. Diameter and size of rear wheel was increased, and the shape of the roll cage was also changed. The 908/3 managed to take all first three positions at the Nurburgring 1000km race, with Martini Team taking first place.
This full-detail kit is based off the 908/3 1971 version. 6 variations covering versions used by Martini team and Gulf team respectively at Nurburgring 1000km race and the Targa Florio.

■内部フレームは光造形製で、立体的構成で造形済みです。
■ホイールリムはアルミ挽き物製。
